14: Returns Policy

  1. Returns Eligibility
    1.1 Goods must be returned at the consumer’s expense.
    1.2 All returned items must be in good, unused, and re-saleable condition, with no signs of damage or wear.
  2. Return Notification and Timeframe
    2.1 Consumers must notify us of their intent to return any online order within 14 days of receipt of the goods.
    2.2 Notification should be made via phone: 01305 269822 or Email info@dorchestertimber.com, providing proof of purchase and a reason for the return.
  3. Restocking Charges
    3.1 For goods returned by the consumer:
  • A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
    3.2 For goods collected by us:
  • A 30% charge will apply, covering restocking and collection service. This fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
  1. Non-Returnable Items
    4.1 The following items are excluded from our returns policy:
  • Special order items or cut / machined goods.
  • Items that have been used, damaged, painted or are not in re-saleable condition.
  1. Refund Process
    5.1 Once the returned goods are inspected and approved for a refund, we will process the applicable refund within 14 days.
    5.2 Refunds will be made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
  2. Changes to the Policy
    6.1 We reserve the right to amend this returns policy at any time. Changes will be updated on our website and apply to orders placed after the effective date of the update.
